The Wish

On Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 9:00PM, please take a moment to ask, think, pray, pause or meditate on the dogs pacing in concrete kennels, those who are broken, damaged, desperate, anxious or sad, those who face euthanasia, please ask for a compassionate adopter, someone who needs to feel the love of helping a lost soul, please ask that not only does that person have the strength to come forward but also ask that we, as a loving community of rescuers and compassionate animal advocates, have the character and conviction to support them by helping them once the dog is in their home. I believe.

Together We're Better

Every Dog Deserves a Home
Any dog who comes into an adoption event or is waiting at a pound or shelter and doesn't find a home has to be networked and promoted so the right person or family can find them!

Look at Those Faces!
There are great dogs in pounds, shelters and foster homes around our state and they all want to be somewhere permanent they can call "home". It's not easy to rescue a dog from a shelter or pound and then try to find him a good home, it takes a great deal of time, patience and, yes, money.

You Can Help in Many Ways!
All of the dogs pictured here belong rescues or are with an animal control officer who believe the dog would be a great companion and family member. If you can help them promote or care for the dog or, better yet, if you will foster or adopt the dog you'll not only save one life but two - because another needy and deserving dog will take the place of one adopted.
